John McNamara (MICHAEL ROOKER) is a reporter on the verge of loosing his job to his arrogant and reckless reporting. When fellow reporter, Daryl Freed, turns up missing, John’s investigations reveals a corruption story involving earthquake reconstruction that may not only destroy his relationship with his father, Judge Patrick McNamara (ROBERT CULP), but the careers of politicians throughout the city.

With the focus on the CCU and its slick president, Jake McCullum (JUDGE REINHOLD), John, with the help of rival reporter Linda Callaway, further investigate the issue to discover a former employee, Frances Johnson, of the CCU who could expose corruption citywide.

John and Linda are not only going to have trouble getting their story into tomorrow’s headlines, but with such a revelation, will they live to see tomorrow?
