DRIVEN

Darius Pelton (Tony Todd), Jason Schuyler (Whip Hubley) and Dale Schneider (Daniel Roebuck) are a group of road-weary cab drivers trying to make sense of their desperate lives while eking out a living on the mean streets of L.A.  Far from the bleakness of “Taxi Driver”, Driven is a story of camaraderie, passion and vulnerability.  Driving endless shifts, competing for fares in a mad rush as if to out-distance demons from their past, the cabbies encounter a full array of urban casualties.  The appearance of Legrand (Chad Lowe), a new cabbie with an almost mystical presence, challenges the callous drivers to reach for their dreams.  Alternating between humor and intensity, boasting a talented cast of fine actors, Driven is both precise and powerful in evoking the fears, frustrations, hopes and dreams of a group of men who discover that their destinies and destinations are beyond their control.
